Important Disclaimer & Service Limitations

Psychologist Vietnam (PV) is a mental health referral and coordination service dedicated to supporting and advocating for individuals and families in identifying and accessing independent mental health and psychiatric professionals and services in Vietnam.

PV may provide information about, and facilitate referrals to, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, therapists, and other appropriately qualified mental health providers. PV verifies relevant provider qualifications, professional credentials, and, where applicable, authorization to practice in accordance with applicable Vietnamese laws and regulations, based on documentation and information available to PV at the time of verification.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, all referred providers operate as independent professionals and are not employees, agents, or representatives of PV. Provider verification by PV does not mean that PV provides, directs, or controls the provider’s clinical services or professional judgment.

This Disclaimer explains the nature, scope, and limitations of PV’s role and should be carefully reviewed before using PV’s referral or coordination services.

Independent Clinical Decisions

Providers remain fully responsible for their own clinical judgment.

1
Independent Professional Judgment All practitioners working with Psychologist Vietnam operate independently, retain full autonomy in making their own clinical judgments and decisions, and remain fully responsible for those decisions.
2
Psychologist Vietnam Does Not Direct Treatment Psychologist Vietnam does not direct, interfere with, or influence the clinical decision-making process of any provider.
3
Provider Responsibility Each provider is solely responsible for the clinical services they provide and for exercising their professional judgment in accordance with applicable professional standards and Vietnamese laws and regulations.
The clinical relationship is established directly between the client and the independent provider.

Psychologist Vietnam does not act as the client's treating psychologist, psychiatrist, physician, therapist, or other clinical healthcare provider unless expressly identified as such in a separate written agreement.

Psychologist Vietnam's verification of a provider's qualifications and credentials, and Psychologist Vietnam’s referral or coordination of services, does not create a clinical relationship between Psychologist Vietnam and the client and does not make Psychologist Vietnam responsible for the provider's independent clinical decisions or treatment.
